A registered agent accepts lawsuits and official notices at a physical street during business hours. That is not a virtual mailbox, not a CMRA, not a virtual office, and not a Maps pin. We say so on every scorecard so a founder does not buy the wrong product.
We are not Northwest Registered Agent, Bizee, LegalZoom, ZenBusiness, IncFile, or Process Street. Those names appear as vendors we score, not as this brand. Scorecards link official pages. Read the affiliate disclosure.
Grades are not purchased. Methodology is public. If a primary source changes — a Secretary of State FAQ, a statute amendment, a vendor sticker — the page date should move. If it has not, write as if the citation is the authority, not our memory.
What we will not do
- Invent prices or streets.
- Fabricate testimonials or aggregate star ratings.
- Score mailbox, CMRA, virtual-office, or Google Business Profile products on this site.
- Tell you a P.O. Box will satisfy California service of process because a forum said so in 2021.
